"Beware of Emotions"

Emotions, heard many times oops, may be you have feel it. So what’s new with that? It plays a crucial role in every one’s life. You can easily feel it when every thing goes good in one’s life. In fact, you do many good things and achieve your best when these emotions go in chorus with your desire.

But in a bad phase you never know that you are grabbed by emotions. It becomes very dangerous in such situation. It not only harms a person but also his/her surrounding. A person starts reacting on it without thinking the good or bad. He starts leading the life as per the order of sentiments.
Most dangerous part of emotion appears when a person starts living in a false belief. This gradually takes him to a pathetic phase of life. As one does not want to listen the truth, this takes him/her in a situation where one loses confidence and fear to face the truth of life.

So, it is very necessary to control your emotions. You will never know when your emotion becomes your desire and your desire into want. And this want can mislead you. Try that your desire never takes your life in a negative direction.

People, sometimes, while following their dreams forget that they are followed by emotions at the same time. It is good to follow and fulfill your dream. But always be prepare about the consequence what if a dream does not come true. In this way, a desire can never ruin your life. Because you were not clutched by the emotions. As, you have gripped it. This power to control an emotion will always help you do best in the life.

Let's not forget that the little emotions are the great captains of our lives and we obey them without realizing it. ~Vincent Van Gogh

Have You Seen the Terror of Swine Flu?

Swine flu is a contagious respiratory disease, caused by H1N1 virus. Well, now you will think that we all know. So, without discussing further about how it is caused or what its effect is, I will tell you the panic that I have seen just 2 weeks ago and the current situation in the city.
After getting hyped by the media, everybody got scared of the flu. Within 2-3 days everyone on the road was wearing mask. In buses, drivers and conductor were also wearing mask. Children in the society were allowed to play only if they were wearing mask. If a person was suffering from an ordinary flu, either people kept distance from him/her or suggested him/her to stay at home.

The biggest problem was the shortage of masks at medical stores. Even the disposable masks which cost rupees 1 or 2; were selling at rupees 20-30. People were giving order for the special H1N1 masks. It was good as all were taking precaution against disease. But what for those who were purchasing the mask from “hawkers” and from roadside? How could anyone ensure that those masks which were outside will protect from the virus? How can these masks be immune to the virus?
And as the death rate increased people were so much frightened that they stopped coming out of their home. Schools, colleges and multiplexes were closed. Most of the companies ordered their employees to work from home. The most crowded streets of the city where you can’t walk without bumping into someone on a normal day; were deserted at that time.
When the panic grew out of limits, government warned media not to hype the disease; to control the terror in the city. Well that was the condition 2 weeks ago.
Now, though the H1N1 virus is not completely wiped out from the city, people are roaming freely without any protection. As usual everybody is doing their work. No more “Work from Home”. Schools and colleges are opened. Where those masks have gone? Yes, sometimes in the buses; I could see people talking freely without covering their faces but, when the bus starts they cover their faces with hanky as if the virus will come from the window of the running bus.
Death rate has risen up to 30 in the city. No publicity, no terror. No terror, no precaution. After all; we all got familiar to this disease. It is well said that
“What is this Life if full of Care
We have no Time to Stand and Stare!”

A sweltering afternoon

Although I write my dairy, but this is the first time I am writing a blog. Here I am going to write about a hot day I experienced. This thought arouse in my mind while doing my work at home and suddenly there was a power cut. This reminded me a hot day when I was in Rajasthan.
I was at home, the hottest day of the month (48 degree Celsius) and suddenly there was power cut. So, I moved towards the window in hope of getting some fresh air. I looked outside; the sun was shining at its peak. People on the roads seemed to be exhausted because of that day. Hawkers sitting on the side of the road wiping their sweat. Children returning from the school looked fagged. The only respite was an “Ice-cream Wala” who was passing on the cones to the school children.
As I was wearied, everything seemed dull and exhausted to me. Looking all those things outside, I wished if I could go to such a place where I can feel the cool breeze and enjoy the beauty of the nature. A place- away from the crowd and nuisance of the city.
A visit to Hill-Side. Thinking of my dream destination, I started imagining as if I am at a place surrounded by green hills. I can view the sun-rise from the window of my room where I can feel its warmth with a cup of tea in my hand.
The beautiful environment where I can hear the chirping of the birds contrast to the honking of the vehicles and noise in the city. I can imagine myself walking by the riverside and the bubbling sound of water giving relief to my mind as somebody is playing a melodious music. The fragrance of the flower and the breeze blowing there refreshing and revitalizing my senses.
I was completely absorbed in the thoughts of that pleasing location. Suddenly I was awakened by a noise and the gush of warm air. I found myself in the same old chair. The only difference was now my fan was running; but I could not feel the way I was feeling in my dream destination.
